Delta Coaches Limited provides assured quality coach hire for local trips around Teesside with UK and European wide coach travel. We offer a range of vehicles from 8 to 70 seats, including standard and executive vehicles. Delta Coaches was founded by Gary Walton who has 38 years experience, operating school and executive coach travel in Teesside, customers of Gary’s have included Middlesbrough football club team for 16 years, The King of Sweden, President George Bush and Princess Anne.
In 2021, The Cass family were welcomed into the company. The Cass family has been within the transport industry for over 40 years, offering the Northeast of England competitive coach travel throughout the country. Recent destinations in the last 12 months include Switzerland, France and Germany, together with most major UK tourist sights.

Replacement Driver Hire
Fully uniformed Drivers are available to companies touring the UK and requiring rest day cover to enable your coach to work seven days a week. All drivers have many years experience, CPC Cards, Digital Tachograph Cards, Full Manual PCV licences and have familiarity with most chassis and body types.

Dan Cass
Transportation courses through Dan’s veins. His family legacy traces back to a thriving Taxi Firm in Stockton-on-Tees, managed by his parents and grandparents. At just 14, Dan’s father transitioned to coach operations, exposing Dan to the industry during his work experience and part-time job cleaning coaches on weekends. Dan dedicated nine years to service buses, progressing from a driver to a leading driver and eventually a depot controller. Despite a brief hiatus managing a local self-storage facility, after two years, Dan returned to his roots, determined to uphold his family’s tradition in the coach industry.
Emma Griffiths
At the age of 17, Emma embarked on her journey in the coach industry as an office junior, accumulating over two decades of invaluable experience in this realm. Despite a brief detour working in a hospital for three years, she felt the pull back to her true passion and returned. Emma has been an integral part of Delta for the past six years, bringing her wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team.
Martin Bell
Introducing Martin, a distinguished veteran from the Armed Forces, concluding a remarkable 30-year tenure as a Warrant Officer with a prestigious regiment. With a wealth of experience, Martin embodies the regimental mindset essential for upholding and exceeding our compliance standards at Delta Coaches.
Matt Standring
Meet Matt, whose professional journey began in the retail sector with a major supermarket chain, honing his operational skills. He further enriched his expertise through diverse roles, including a stint at Leeds United Football Club. Joining Delta without a licence, Matt seized the opportunity to enrol in our driver training scheme, showcasing his commitment to growth and excellence.
Matt Williams
Matt’s career in the transport industry began as a service bus driver for a prominent local operator. After two years of dedicated work, he advanced to a Gateshead-based independent coach company, where his commitment and expertise earned him the role of Operations Manager. In 2024, Matt joined Delta Coaches as an Administration Officer, eager to expand his career. Demonstrating his skills and unwavering dedication, he quickly became a vital member of the Delta Coaches Operations team, applying his broad knowledge across various areas and gaining invaluable experience along the way.
Ricky Clements
Ricky has always had a deep passion for driving, which he turned into a career in 2006 by entering the transport industry and focusing on local service work. In 2014, he transitioned into the coaching sector, taking on both UK and European assignments. In 2020, he progressed to a management role, further solidifying his expertise. Most recently, in November 2024, Ricky rejoined Delta Coaches as part of their operations team, continuing to bring his experience and dedication to the industry.
